This is
a site on the outskirt
of Huddersfield where I
used to Hang Glide, I
had gone along hoping to
find a few pilots on the
ridge so that I could
get some spectacular
pictures but there was
no-one about. We used to
take off further round
the ridge from where
this picture was taken
but I think it leads you
very nicely into the
scene and conveys the
feeling of wanting to
jump off the ridge, so
maybe I kind of got what
I wanted.
I did very little to
this image except to
change the colour
balance to richen up the
colours to give a warmer
overall feel to the
picture and I also
raised the contrast on
the wooden beams to
sharpen up the textures.
I also dodged and burned
the foreground grass to
give that more depth.
