This is an image that I think doesn't really work out that well. I tried to create a striking image by enhancing the strength of the colours and adding a different sky scene, pretty much as I had done on Rhylstone Cow 1 which worked out very well. I suppose each image needs to be treated differently based upon its content and you cannot assume that what works for one will work on another.

What I Did To Original:

I used Add Mask Layer to add a different sky scene as the exposure on the original had rendering the sky blank. The sky that I used was taken from a picture that had been taken in the same area just minutes earlier so I assumed it would work but I think the sky looks really artificial, maybe with more care I could have balanced the colours but I felt this one was going west and decided to let it. The cow I used the Transform tool on to stretch slightly to give it a less scrawny look and the colour I think I went mad with trying to make it strong enough to fit the scene. I think this one can do down as a lesson in heavy handed-ness.
