On the
original image I thought
the sky was rather dull
so I darkened the top
lefthand corner and
raised the contrast in
the clouds with an
Adjustment Layer. This
gave the clouds the
impressions of kind of
tumbling into the scene.
The foreground decking
was very monotone pretty
much black and white, to
resolve this I added
another layer and
applied a red/brown
gradient to that layer
that faded towards the
vanishing point. This
gradient spilt over the
decking as I hadn't
selected an area to
restrict it to so I
simply erased the spare
gradient that overlapped
the lake. To finish I
raised the Colour
Balance on the lake to
make it match the blue
of the sky.
