This image I really like although it maybe a bit picture postcard pretty. I took plenty of the fountain but didn't think I had anything worthwhile until I started playing. I liked this one because I thought it was composed nicely but the sun had come out as a hard edged disk that really didn't look nice at all.

What I Did To Original:

To soften the edges of the sun I used an elliptical select that ran around the outside of the sun, I feathered the edge of the select then used and Adjustment Layer to brighten the selected area. This did the job perfectly and made the sun look diffused by the clouds. A side effect brightening this area was to raise the contrast between the sun and the top of the jet which drew the eye.
