On the original image
the Pagoda looked top
heavy and leaned
slightly to the right,
my bad photography
rather than any fault
with the structure. To
resolve this I used the
Transform tool to drag
out the bottom right of
the image which
stretched the base of
the Pagoda and gave it a
much sturdier
appearance. I also
darkened the clouds on
the right of the image
to try and balance the
tree but without much
success. I also applied
a gradient to the
foreground to darken the
gravel in the immediate
foreground, this seemed
to bring the colour out
of the stone and enhance
the focal point that is
the Pagoda.
