It's ahame about the tree to the left of this image as I feel it spoils the picture, I tried cropping it closer but that broke the continuity of the path that leads you to the Pagoda. I tried to use a different sky scene to remove the tree but it look very artificial so I decided to live with it.

What I Did To Original:

On the original image the Pagoda looked top heavy and leaned slightly to the right, my bad photography rather than any fault with the structure. To resolve this I used the Transform tool to drag out the bottom right of the image which stretched the base of the Pagoda and gave it a much sturdier appearance. I also darkened the clouds on the right of the image to try and balance the tree but without much success. I also applied a gradient to the foreground to darken the gravel in the immediate foreground, this seemed to bring the colour out of the stone and enhance the focal point that is the Pagoda.
