Sunken Boat in Scarborough Harbour

I saw this sunken boat in Scarborough harbour whilst trying to get a decent photo of the (still floating) boats. I wasn't having a great deal of success getting an interesting shot of the boats in the harbour, basically it isn't Monaco so the glamour angle wasn't working out for me. I decided to go the other way and try and capture something much more Yorkshire than Monte Carlo.

What I Did To Original:

I was immediately pleased with composition but knew I would have to raise the colour levels within sections of the image to raise contrast within image and get rid of the monotone look of the original.

I used Feathered Selections and Adjustment Layers to raise contrast within the Image and then Dodged and Burned sections to sharpen the textures.
